About Ray and Savannah

Two operators. Two vantage points. One clear lane.

Savannah Brown is the dental-operations insider. Ray Piercy is the business operator. Together, they teach the business operation of a dental practice. Neither is a dentist, and neither owns a dental practice.

The shared belief

Expectations become repeatable when people have a usable system, real training, and coaching that fits the work.

Telling someone to “do better” is not implementation. DEC makes the work visible, builds a process people can use, trains it in the real setting, and improves it from what actually happens.

Savannah Brown

Savannah is a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Tennessee and a current lead assistant. She has seven years of chairside experience across three dental practices.

In each practice, her work grew beyond the chair into training, systems, process improvement, and administration. Her DEC perspective is grounded in how people, handoffs, workflows, and day-to-day systems operate around patient care.

DEC’s lane

Business education, with the limits left visible.

DEC teaches systems, leadership, training, team capability, business measures, and operating decisions. It does not provide clinical, legal, tax, insurance, coding, cybersecurity, investment, or practice-transaction advice.
